Privacy Policy

1. Overview

IQ Testim ("the App") respects the privacy of its users. This policy explains what data is collected while you use the App, how it is used and how it is protected.

2. Data We Collect

IQ Testim collects data in the categories below. The great majority of it is stored only on your device.

Required for the App to work:

• Age range (to choose the questions and the norm)
• Test answers, response times and the resulting score
• App preferences (language, sound, haptics)
• Device language and region

Optional — fields you enter on the profile screen:

• First and last name
• Title
• Email address
• Phone number
• Country / state / district
• Profile photo

None of these fields is required; every feature of the App works without filling in any of them. What you enter is stored only on your own device and is not sent to our servers.

The marketing consent on the profile screen is a separate choice: entering the details does not mean permitting their use for marketing. Consent is off by default, never pre-ticked, and unless you tick it your details are never used for marketing. You can withdraw it at any time on the same screen.

On accounts under 13 the profile screen never opens; these fields are neither asked for nor stored.

3. Leaderboard

Taking part in the leaderboard is optional and off by default. When you turn it on, only the display name you choose, your score and a randomly generated device identifier are sent. Turning it off stops new submissions; records already sent remain on the server.

Accounts under 13 can never take part in the leaderboard.

4. Storage and Use of Data

All user data is stored primarily on the user’s device. Optional profile fields are also kept only on the local device and are never shown on the leaderboard or anywhere else visible to other users.

These optional details may be used, only with your explicit consent, for product development and marketing within IQ Testim’s own internal processes. They are not shared with or sold to third parties.

5. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services:

• Apple App Store (app distribution and subscription management)
• Sign in with Apple (optional account linking)

Those services are governed by their own privacy policies.

6. Children’s Privacy

IQ Testim takes children’s safety seriously. A parental consent screen is shown for users under 16. On accounts under 13 no profile information is collected at all and leaderboard participation cannot be enabled.

7. Legal Basis and Your Rights

The App is built in line with Turkish Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 (KVKK). Optional profile fields are entered by the user and stored only on the device. Processing that information for marketing purposes requires separate, explicit consent, which is off by default and can be withdrawn at any time.

Users have the right to learn whether their data is being processed, to request information about it, and to have it corrected, deleted or object to its processing. You can delete all data instantly from the App settings or contact us at the address below.

8. Deleting Your Data

Using "Delete all data" on the profile screen permanently removes your test history, profile details, profile photo and game scores. Removing the App from your device also deletes all data held on it.

9. Changes

This privacy policy may be updated from time to time. Significant changes will be announced inside the App.
